Past perfect and present perfect

hi there
I just would like to find out if is possible to use both past perfect and present perfect in one sentence ? if so , please give me an example please

Hi, If it takes more than 5 minutes trying to think of a scenario where both perfect tenses are used, than I suggest not waste time on it. By the way, we appreciate questions posted with proper capitalization and literal English.

Have/has + had constructions are relatively rare, but it is possible:

She has always wished (pres perf) that she had been (past perf) born a boy.

That is perfect, but like you said; " rare". I would say this is a border-line sentence of the counter-fact nature, or conditional. I didn't mean it was impossible. What I meant was, if we had to think hard for a scenario in which to apply the both tenses, then it is not commo
