Past perfect!

Hey guys! I am wondering if that sentence is correct.

I did't hear the alarm because i had stopped it.

I did't hear the alarm because i had stopped it. I've bolded two mistakes, but Past Perfect is fine. For an alarm, we don't usually say 'stopped'.

I've bolded two mistakes, but Past Perfect is fine.
