Past or PP?
Hi there, thanks in advance for helping me.
We always learn that for a past action when time is given, we use the past tense, eg I met him last week. However, I have read letters from law firms and newspapers that said, “We have sent the letter to the other side last week” etc. Just wondering how this tense actually works as I suppose law firms letters are correct...
