Past or by

I was wondering if past and by both are preposition can be used interchangeably, I am very confused about the word called past.

Please see the examples.

She's walking by my house.

She's walking past my house.

She's standing past my house.

She's standing by my house.

Too much confusion regarding the usage of past please help.

You cannot "stand past" something. The word "past" (in the relevant sense) implies motion.
