Past form of "learn", is it Learned or Learnt?

Hi every one;

I wonder what is the past form of "To Learn"? Is it "Learned" or "Learnt"? What's their difference?

British English generally uses the strong past form "learnt." It is the older, irregular past.
American English uses the weak past form "learned."

Many old irregular strong verbs have been changing to weak (regular) forms.
