Past and present perfect in the same sentence

Hi, I have the sentence below from a dialogue between a doctor and a patient. The doctor speaks to the patient in order to reassure him:
"You left the hospital yesterday and only two weeks have passed since the accident"

The accident has still an effect, the patient has dismissed the day before the conversation with the Doctor and he doesn't feel ok yet. Is this form correct ? Many thanks to all you!

The tenses are fine. (But some punctuation would be nice.)
