Passsive

Can we turn this sentence to the passive? Is it commonly used?

You have been teaching your students. To become "students have been being taught."

Top answer

It would have to be 'Your students have been being taught by you'. Native speakers NEVER – repeat NEVER – use such ugly constructions.
