They will be excluded...The tax comes after campaigners...This must be implemented immediately...Not sure about the first and last one, but the middle is passive right?Thank you x

You can tell a passive voice construction by four simple rules:

1. There is a past participle of the main verb.
2. There is some form of the verb "be" as a helping verb. (be, am, is, are, was, were, being, been)
3. The main verb is a transitive verb. That is, it can take an object.
4. The noun that receives the action of the verb is in the subject position of the sentence.

Try to answer each question for your sentences. If the answer is "yes" for all four, it's passive voice.
Then you won't be guessing.
They will be excluded.
1. Yes. "excluded" is a past participle.
2. Yes. The infinitive form "be" is present.
3. Yes, "Exclude" is a transitive verb. (We excluded cars more than five years old from our list.)
4. Yes. eg. The active voice form is: (We / someone ) will exclude them.
