passive Vs active form

I wonder which form offers more natural English :
1. He is killed in a car crash ( last night).
2. He was killed in a car crash ( last night).
3. He killed in a car crash ( last night).

Thanks.

No, you cannot use intransitive verbs in passive voice.

The verbs "pass away" and "die" cannot be used in the passive voice. Here we have to use the active voice, which focuses on the person or thing doing the action; that is, it was "he" who died or passed away in a car crash.
