Passive Voice: true/false

1)The voice in one sentence can change between the two voices.

2)To determine the voice, one identifies all the verbs in the sentence; if they are the verb 'to be' plus the past participle, then it is in passive voice; otherwise, it is in active voice.

3)The difference between the past tense and the past participle is that the past participle has an auxiliary verb before it.

If they are false, can you tell me the correct statement (why it's false).

Thanks.

Assuming you wrote these, they're all true. Except 1) and 2) are mutually exclusive, so 2) has to be false.

Cheers Avangi. The reason I asked these is because I encountered an unusual sentence in which the voice changes within the sentence.

I don't know if you have read the post, but here it is: (I thought it was active, but Yankee made me aware of the voice change half-way through the sentence).
