Passive Voice test at the englisch-hilfen.de

Hi guys!

I did this test http://www.englisch-hilfen.de/en/complex_tests/passive1/index.php just now. I made a few mistakes:

A) Rewrite the sentences in Passive voice.

4) The teacher closes the window.
My answer: The window is closed by the teacher.
Correct Answer: The window is closed.
5) My friend bought a new car.
My answer: A new car was bought by my friend
Correct Answer: A new car was bought.

Can someone tell me why my answers are incorrect?

As I think ur answers are more appropriate than the correct answers which u mentioned. Cuz u r mentioning the doer of the action which is making the sentence more meaningful. So, don't worry, ur answers are also right.

But that doesn't mean that the answers which u have marked as correct are wrong.

So both the answers r correct.
