Passive voice

Hi, I would very much appreciate if you could help me. I'm writing a movie script so it needs to be in the present tense. I've read that it's best to avoid using passive voice, but I don't know how I can avoid using it here. I have written this:

She looks around and is suddenly drawn to a beautiful antique vase.

First of all, is the sentence correct?

Secondly, would you write it as I have or differently?

anonymous I'm writing a movie script so it needs to be in the present tense. This is highly unlikely. If it were true, no one in a movie would ever be able to talk about events that happened earlier in the movie because that requires the past tense.
