Passive voice

For long time, people have believed that money brings hapiness. (I want to change it into passive)

For long time, it has been believed that money brings happiness.

For long time, money has been believed to bring happiness.

Is my answer correct?

Thanks

anonymous For long time, people have believed that money brings hapiness. You got off to a bad start here. It's "for a long time", and you misspelled "ha pp iness" (though that's probably a typo because you spelled it right later ).

Thanks for correction, it was a typo.I have another question, can I change this sentence using the present simple? ' For a long time, it is believed that money brings happiness.'/'For a long time, money is believed to bring happiness.

If yes, which is better present perfect or present simple?
