Passive Voice

Hello everyone,

If someone gives a sentence as follows:

Q. Build a new house. (last year)

Then she/he asks me to change it into passive. Can I change it as follows?

A. A new house was built.

As a sentence, "Build a new house" is an imperative. It is not possible to change an imperative into passive voice. "last year" does not make sense with an imperative. You cannot tell someone that they should do something in the past. I suppose it may be that the question is not meant as a sentence, but is meant, loosely, as some words or ideas that you should use to make a passive-voice sente
