Passive Voice

"She has eaten the cake" "The cake was eaten by her"
Everyone I've asked in person says both are passive; spell check and the internet only give the second as passive. Which are actually passive?

The first one is active, and the second is passive.

#1 is active voice (Present Perfect tense)

#2 is passive voice (Simple Past tense)

An active sentence is where the subject performs the action of the verb.
A passive sentence is where the subject "receives" the action of the verb.

Rover the dog bit the boy. (The dog did the action of biting.) Active.
The boy was bitten
