Dear teachers...

Do these 2 sentences read well?

'It is impossible to know the actor'

'The actor is impossible to know'.

Thanks

In this case, 'know' shares the same meaning as 'recognise'.

Hi,

In your two sentences, without any further context, 'know' does not suggest that meaning to me. I'd say 'recognize'.
