Passive construction

#1 A stone struck me on the head

Passive 1: I was struck by a stone on the head.
Passive 2: I was struck on the head by a stone.

Actually both 1 & 2 are same but there is change in position of words.
Which one is more correct?

#2 My uncle promised me a present.
Passive 1: I was promised a present by my uncle.
here in this it seems correct. If we say " I was promised by my uncle a present", its sound little awkward.
