Other people? Other than who? Apparently you already know that one or more people were killed. It sounds like an unusual situation, but in any case, to ask if other people in the car died in a certain car accident you say,

Did (any) other people in the car die in the (car) accident?

more or less just as you already wrote it.

"a car crash" means "any car crash that has ever occurred anywhere at any time", so the answer almost has to be "No" because the car would be very unlikely to contain passengers who were already dead, having already died in a car crash.

You can fix this by changing "a" to "the", or you can just use the version you started with, above.
