Hello. Needs to know if any corrections are required in the passage below. Thanks 
"I was successful in nailing down a spot with a scholarship in Carleton University which is located in the capital of Canada namely Ottawa. It currently houses around 22000 undergraduates, proving how large scale it is. I preferred carleton over others in the same vicinity stemming from the fact that it doesn't only offer a wide-range of programs but also the facilities which are offered by a few universities for instance CO-OP program. This program allows a student to implement the theory into practice and cultivate a insightful view of working world and gain valuable experience while working as a professional at this age which most likely will come in handy for us in future. "
