Usage

Pashaw

Hi,
I'm interested in the popular usage of the work Pashaw. When I look up the word I'm told to refer to the word Pasha, which is defined as a title for military and civil officers, especially in Turkey and northern Africa. However, in typical use I see the word used in a context so that it seems that people are saying, "***!" What is the common English definition of Pashaw?
Thanks,
Ed Stuart
