Party central

Hello there!

I've been reading a book where it reads: ...loud music had transformed the museum into party central.

It seems here, that central is being used as a noun not an adjective. Even though, i couldn't still quite grasp the meaning of "party central" specifically.

I'm wondering if you benevolently, could answer me one or some synonyms for that.

Thank you so very much!

Hello, Bruno, ' XX Central' is slang; it is casual English for the central place of XX activity, the core of XX activity. 'Party central' here means the scene of very good (and possibly continuous) parties. It is the main place to have a party, a famous partying location.
