Grammar

Parts of Speech. (HELP!!! I'm desperate)

Hello. Emotion: big smile I was given a paragraph in grammar class and I was told to classify each word according to its function in the text. Needless to say, I'm lost.

This is one of the sentences:

Both university and secondary students get involved in doing research during their studies.

Both: No idea.

University: Adjective / Descriptive / Common (modifies students)
And: Copulative conjunction.
Secondary: Adjective / Descriptive / Common (modifies students)
Students: Noun. Common / Concrete. Subject.

Get Involved: No idea. I don't know if it's the main verb or not.

In: Preposition (?) What kind?
Doing: Is it a verb or a gerund noun? Is it the main verb?
Research: (?)

During: Preposition (?) Of time.
Their: Adjective / Determiner / Possessive.
Studies: Noun / Common / Abstract (?).. Is it the object of a verb?

Please help me! And thank you in advance.
