Participle clause

Hi, is the following sentence correct?

"Apart from the very subject being of little to no use, which the lecturer herself acknowledged as well, I deem it important to mention that it was not made clear what fields the practice was to be realized in, and it was only after I inquired about it that I learned the conditions, which on no account did comply with what had been mentioned in the first seminar."

I'm mainly interested in the participle clause and the following one, because I'm not sure if it's the same case of the participle clause and the main one having diffierent subjects, as in "The train having arrived late, we missed our flight.", which I know is perfectly correct.

Thanks

The main clause has "lecturer" as its subject and "subject" is the subject of the participle clause. So yes, they have different subjects as you suspected. I have some reservations about the use of "on no account".

  • "on no account/under no circumstances" is usually said when we want to emphasize that something should or must not happen so it seems misplaced there.
  • I could be wrong though.
