Participial Construction Starting with a Preposition?

Hello, teachers! Today I have a question about a participial construction with a prepositional phrase. For example:

1) As he was in a great hurry, he left home without saying where he was going.

I think you can rephrase this as:

2) Being in a great hurry, he left home without saying where he was going.

using a participial construction.

Now, it is okay to rewrite it as this:

3) In a great hurry, he left home without saying where he was going.
or
3') He left home without saying where he was going, in a great hurry.

and can this sentence still be interpreted as a participial construction?

In other words, can a participial construction start with a preposition?

Thank you very much for your time.
