Participating [with] ?

You can win extra credits by participating prize questions.

I was wondering whether 'participating' is the right kind of word in context of 'prize questions'. Couldn't it be 'participating with prize questions'? That's the way we Dutch folks say it... so it might also be Dutchism :-)
