Participal clause

Hi, guys!

I`d be grateful if anyone could help me with this sentence. Is the use of a participal clause appropriate or not?

You`ll be further encouraged to become a student being offered financial support.

By being offered financial support, you`ll be further encouraged to become a student.

The idea of putting 'by' came up to my mind a few hours after I posted the question. Once again, thank you for your point.
