She'll soon be as tall as her mother.



May I know the part of speech for each "as" above?

as tall - I think that because tall is an adjective as would be a adverb. as her mother - I think that as 'as' is followed by a noun (processive determiner - her, noun - mother) that makes as a preposition. Dave
