Part of a refrigerator

The upper part of the refrigerator is called freezer where you store food at a very cold temperature.

Is there a specific term for the bottom part of the refrigerator?

How do I refer to it in a conversation? Just "Put it in the refrigerator, not the freezer"?

Thanks.
