Part and parting

Hi

(Context: hair)

I am aware that part is common in AmE and parting in BrE.

Could you please tell me if these sentences sound OK to you?

  1. Her hair is never parted straight.
  2. She never has a straight part/parting.
  3. I don't like to part my hair.
  4. His hair naturally parts in the middle/centre.

Thanks,

Tom

Yes. All OK. (As an American I prefer 'part' in 2, not 'parting'.)
