Parsing problems

Hi all! My name is Daniela and I'd really appreciate it if you can help me with some sentence analysis problems I've come across... I'm trying to analyse this sentence:

I can’t imagine what made him do that

And I'm having problems with the VP of the Od Clause, as I'm not sure how to analyse it... My attempt is:

[S(what) P(made Oi(him) do) Od(that)]

But I'm so not sure about it... I could give it more tries, but none makes sense to me... any suggestions?

Thanks a lot!!

What do you think about this one?

[S(The new concept which has appeared in popular speech) P(refers to) Od(using social networks)]

I'm not sure about the underlined bit... Would you consider it an Od?

That's my last query

No, because it's introduced by a preposition.

refers | to using social networks

verb | prepositional phrase with a gerund object
