Parsing

“We’re here because you’re living in our house,” was one way to break the ice.

one way to break the ice - a subject;

was - a predicator;

“We’re here because you’re living in our house,” - a complement.

Is my parsing acceptable?

I see no reason for considering the sentence an inverted structure. What you call the subject I would call the complement and vice versa.
