Parsing

Freud tried to make sex the explanation for everything.

Freud - a subject;
tried to make - a predicator (where "tried" is the head of the verb phrase and "to make" its complement);
sex - a direct object;
the explanation for everything - the object complement (in which "the explanation" is the head of the noun phrase "the explanation for everything" and "for everything" (prepositional phrase) its complement.

Is my parsing acceptable?
