I have read a ton of sentences, which have used the word "parse" with the word "through", i.e. voters parsed through comments from Mr Smith". Is this grammatically correct? or should it just be: "voters parsed comments from Mr Smith"?
Both are correct grammar, but they seem like odd things to say, especially 'parse through'.
