Parking Lot, Parking Garage, Parking Building..

What are these above words different?

and there is two story parking building. and it has 3 floors or stages where people can park their car.

and 54 parking spaces. On these sentences, am I using words correctly to convey the meaning?

lot = one surface, outdoors, probably

garage = one or more levels, indoors

building = larger than 'garage' (?)
