Parking buildings

What do you call in English one of those buildings (sometimes with about 7 or eight floors) that are all used for parking cars?

Is it 'a parking lor'?

Top answer

(multi-story) parking garage Christine Christie Is it 'a parking lor'? Technically speaking, a parking lot is an open area flat on the ground while a parking garage would be several levels with a ramp up and down to different levels. Parking lots, to the best of my knowledge, can also include car elevators up to 3-4 in Manhattan.
