Parents should?

Hi teachers,

Good parents should ______ for their children.

A. supply
B. provide
C. foresee
D. support

Correct answer is option B. Why not others except option C? I think supply and support are suitable for the blank above. Am I wrong?

Thank you.

Only B is correct. This is a question of knowing the idiomatic collocations with "for". While you can can "provide for" someone, you cannot "supply/foresee/support for" someone (in any relevant sense).
