Parenthesis (confused!).

May your books continue to equip the body of Christ for the glory of God: veritas vos liberabit (the truth shall make you free.)

Help! Is that punctuated correctly with the parenthesis and period???

It depends on the style guide. I'd put the period outside the bracket myself, and change a couple of other things: May your books continue to equip the body of Christ for the glory of ***: veritas vos liberabit ( " the truth shall make you free " ).
