Parenthesis

Hi,

I have a question regarding the parenthesis structure. In the following scenarios, both sentences using this structure and the other two without this structure should be all correct in meaning. But I have no idea which pattern is preferable when I speak or write. Please help me with this.. Or if you can tell me when should I use which pattern, I would highly appreciate it Thanks!

1. Since your pricing is much higher than expected, our order quantity, I am afraid, will not be that much.
2. The man, he said, is very easy to get along with.

3. Since your pricing is much higher than expected, I am afraid our order quantity will not be that much.
4. He said the man is very easy to get along with.

As parenthetical structures, 1. and 2. are rather clumsy but not technically ungrammatical. Because we tend to write more formally and carefully than we speak, I can imagine the parenthetical clauses in 1. and 2. being included as spontaneous afterthoughts as someone speaks but not as well-structured sentences that someone writes.
