paraphrazing needed?

Hi, does this sentence sound ok?

"Spectometer for studying the MCA reactions."
Is it better to say 'Spectometer for MCA reactions study'?
Thanks!

Neither is a sentence; they are just fragments. That is the problem, because we cannot tell you which one is right until you give us more of the text.

Hi there and thank you!
It was actually the title of some paper. I just wondered which of the above-mentioned options sounded better.

Spectrometer for MCA reactions study
