Paraphrasing?

1. The moon is not a magnet the way the earth is.

2. The moon is not a magnet as the earth is.

3. The moon is not a magnet, like the earth.

I'd like to know whether the sentences have the same meaning. #1 is the sentence from an article. #2 and #3 are paraphrasing of #1.
