Are the following paraphrases correct?

1- As the job market is becoming competitive, many young people struggle to have a decent standard of living.

--> With the job market BECOMING increasingly competitive, many young people struggle to have a decent standard of living.

2- Children will have to study at school for many years, so they will have many opportunities to learn how to manage their own emotions.
