Parallelism and Repeating Adverbs

Can you tell me if this is correct technically and stylisitically?

The sentence:

Welcome to the Forums! The second 'so' is not really necessary, but if parallelism is your goal, it's fine. You might also consider 'or' instead of 'and'.
