Parallelism

I am having problems with this sentence:

1. I can express my opinions verbally and in writing.

This sentence is not parallel due to the adverb "verbally" and noun "writing." Therefore I feel that is not adequate.

2. I can express my opinions in writing and verbal form.

Although this sentence is parallel, i feel that the "verbal form" is too obscure a term. What do you think?

What would be the best way to express this sentence.

Please let me know.
