Parallelism
Hi there!
I don't know if this is the right place to post this but i'm going to anyway!
Ok, for an English 1000 assignment, we must make a parrallel sentence containing three phrases, each that follow a pattern of " When the ___ in ____" all of which must be parrallel. Becuase my English proffessor has a large class, she will not be examining any of our work prior to the hand in date (basically if you need help, you must find it elsewhere). I was wondering if anyone could comment on my attempt at a parrallel sentence? Any FEEDBACK would be appreciated, but I don't want any hints!! If theres something wrong, just tell me what's wrong and I will go from there (basically I don't want to plagiarize!).
Here's my sentence:
When the last words are spoken in the softest of light, when the final good-bye is in the smile of the departing, and when the clenched hand is released in the most beautiful of ways, there will be acceptance.
Please don't laugh if it is silly...I've always had to work hard with English!
