Parallel structure

Hi. I have questions concerning how to perse the sentence below.

"With genuine trust, we could negotiate to coordinate our strategies and produce cooperative solutions, secure in the knowledge that we could trust each other not to break agreements for individual advantage."

My question is: Is "produce" in the above sentence parallel with the verb "negotiate" or the infinitive "coordinate", and how do you know which?

Please, help me.
Thank you.

I see.
If possible, could you explain to me how you came to that conclusion?
Does punctution, context, or any other rules played a role?

thank you in advance.

'to me' is not needed.
___________

I imagine that anyone would come to the same conclusion in the way that you did. You must have come to that conclusion, or something very much like it, or you would not have asked the question.

Thank you for the reply and the correction.

The sentence was in an English exam and we were asked to translate it into Japnese.

So, I guess it was OK and natural to have trouble interpreting its sentence structure.
In fact, the answer posted (the Japanese translation) could read either way.

Wow! That's impressive. It's usually very difficult to translate ambiguous sentences from one language to another and preserve the ambiguity.
