Is this paragraph correct:


"We went out to explore the locality.

Up to one point, we came across a castle in ruins.

As we passed by the rearguard, we stooped and stayed looking at that structure."

"Up to one point" is wrong. You mean "at one point", maybe. Also, I don't like "castle in ruins". You came across the ruins of a castle.

Are you talking about a structure that's part of the castle?

moat, battlements, keep, bailey, tower, drawbridge?
