The Caspian Sea is a landlocked lake between Europe and Asia. Information on beach litter in Caspian Sea is insufficient. The aim of this study is to assess the beach debris composition, distribution, and abundance in some selected beaches of the Caspian Sea located in Iran, in order to provide baseline information for beach litter management. Beach debris abundance was estimated from surveys on 15 beaches of the Caspian Sea. Debris was assessed during two seasons (Warm and Cold); recorded and categorized by type, size and source. The highest densities showed in West Guilan (˜4.5 items·m2) and west Mazandaran provinces beaches (mean 9.47 in cold and 9.57 in warm items/m2). Plastic beach litter was the most abundant (84.26% of the total debris in warm season and 86.90% in cold season)
Hi I think that's good. I didn't know that the Caspian Sea is actually the world's largest lake (although it is named as a sea) I can't find a fault with what you have said. Not everyone might understand the 'curly equals' sign.

Hi
I think that's good. I didn't know that the Caspian Sea is actually the world's largest lake (although it is named as a sea)
I can't find a fault with what you have said. Not everyone might understand the 'curly equals' sign. (Approximately four and a half items of litter per square metre)
That's a terrible amount, but you have explained it well. Thanks
