pain or painful

I felt my back is more painful after/when sitting too long.

I felt more pain in the back after/when sitting too long.

I felt more stiff/stiffness in the back after/when sitting too long. ( stiff or stiffness? Thanks for helping.)

Please help me to check these grammars. I am confused with it. Many thanks for your help.

This is what I will see them as:
after sitting for too long= you aren't sitting anymore.
when sitting for too long=you are feeling the pain while you are still sitting.
