Paid for with

Sorry for the duplicate, I meant to write this:

When do you use "paid for with"?

Would you please give me some examples?

BTW, is it a "verbal phrase" or a "prepositional phrase"?

Thank you

Please read my answer for "paid for by". The principle is exactly the same. If there is something you don't understand, please ask follow-up questions on that thread rather than here.

  • It's just part of a verb phrase ( was paid ), a preposition ( for ) and another preposition ( by ).
