Oxford advanced learner's dictionary vs dictionary.com

Hello,

I have always been using Oxford advanced learner's dictionary and Dictionary. com but I noticed that some definitions in Oxford advanced learner's dictionary are too short and maybe incomplete. Dictionary.com seems to be more detailed.

Maybe I am wrong? Could you please look at these definitions (the first one is from Oxford dictionary and the second is from dictionary.com. ) and tell me which one is better? It's the word meretricious
